We combine art and research to share progressive ideas.
Our online shop features artwork and products inspired by our academic and political research, dropping these ideas into people’s everyday life.
We also have a research program, focused on identifying the most effective and inclusive ways to communicate progressive ideals, like equality, diversity, fairness, empathy, optimism, free-thinking, and belonging.
We collaborate with students and researchers who are interested in generating knowledge and insight on progressive communication and ideology. Once a year, we run a survey to aid MSc and PhD students with their research focused on communicating, activating, and mobilizing progressive ideology.
Denise Baron, Founder
After more than 10 years on American and British political campaigns and finishing her PhD, Denise Baron founded Progress Projects. Denise holds a PhD in social science research methods and political psychology from the London School of Economics. Denise’s political experiences have ranged from press and communications in South Bend, Indiana to polling and insight in the UK (with many stops in between). Denise began printmaking during lockdown in 2020 and remembered how much fun art can be.
